FRIENDS

Didn't think I had any did you?

There are a lot of friend shots on the folk art environment pages. We are usually heading out to the desert for no reason, or whalloping each other with pillows. If you're on this page, I miss you! and if you're not, you probably reek of uncool.

Sarah, Cliff and me at Weaver Street Market in Chapel Hill, NC. Cliff dropped out of grad school to be an organic farmer and Sarah lived in the psycho house with me for exactly one week -- which included a trip to a psych ward, a visit to the police station, four door slamming arguments with the unemployed alcoholic roommate, said roommate's disappearance, two incidents of cat shit, a missing person's report and an eviction. This was my graduation week.

1990. Psychotic photos of Ashley and me in Cambridge, England, where we had a summer program. They almost kicked us out, if I recall correctly. We've known each other 15 years and have spent exactly one day together in person in the last 14.

The only photo I can find of me and Jeana, whom I lived with for five years while going to UCLA. We were almost married under common law. Actors are even more insane then writers.

New Year's Eve, 1999. Miyagi's, a three level sushi / bartop dance extravaganza on the Sunset Strip. They didn't have a table for us, so we proceeded to take over the second floor. Me on top, Nick behind me (proof I actually date upon occassion), Shirley and Carla; Brian, Vicki and Paul, pounding the beer.

Cousin and some time roomie Carla on the carpet, two drinks into the evening.

Self-portrait.

Kissing cousins? Eh, not.

Paul and Carla and an 80-proof salute from Vicki in the background.

Group photo, New Years still

Ah, the Love Lounge, in our apartment in West Hollyweird. Two of the folks' couches pushed together. The more the merrier! New Year's morning -- note the USED sticker on my forehead, from some college book. I forgot it was there and wore it out all day.
