ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I am an art history graduate from UCLA and completed a masters in library and information science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in spring of 2004. From 1996-2001 I was an arts journalist and have written and researched for a few books and museums. I have been interested in folk art environments since reading Roger Cardinal's seminal Outsider Art at UCLA.
